Federal Appeals Court Ready To Announce Their Ruling On Prop 8! TODAY!

It’s about time!

After a year delay, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has announced that a three-judge panel will announce today its ruling on whether or not the ban on same-sex marriage in California, known as Proposition 8, bans the constitutional rights of gays and lesbians!

Apparently, the panel held off on the decision as they wanted to be informed by the California Supreme Court as to the legality of the Prop 8 sponsors authority to challenge the trial judge’s ruling that it was unconstitutional to begin with!

Doesn’t seem like that much of a question to us, but okay!

We also know that regardless of the decision today, both sides will be ready to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, but we sincerely hope that this panel realizes what a disgusting infringement on basic human rights this ban truly is!

Madonna OFFICIALLY Announces 2012 Tour Dates!!!!!!

Wonder how much it’ll cost to go to EVERY one of these shows…hmm……

We are BEYOND excited to report that Madonna has announced ALL the 2012 dates for her world tour!!!!!!

It all starts up on May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel. From there, she’ll travel all over Europe until August 28, when she’ll start up her North American leg of the tour in Philadelphia, PA!

In total, she’ll be playing 26 European markets, and another 26 in N. America in 2012!

Live Nation’s CEO of Global Touring Arthur Fogel says that by the end of the tour, which will go into 2013, she’ll play a total of 90 shows, which is the most EVER for a Madonna tour!

Tickets officially go on sale starting Feb. 10 in Tel Aviv and the UK…and on Feb. 13 in North America.

Glee Scores Highest Sales Of The Season With Michael Tracks

The King of Pop has still got it — and so does Glee!

Last week’s Michael Jackson episode was a huge win for the crew behind the FOX musical comedy. Not only was it the most watched episode of the season, but it also generated the highest music sales! With their ten tracks, all MJ themed, the show sold 405,773 new tracks at iTunes and all are in the top 30 of iTunes Top Songs Chart. The largest seller was Naya Rivera and Grant Gustin’s cover of Smooth Criminal, selling 108K all on it’s own. In fact, it ranks as the 3rd highest debut for a Glee song so far in Season 3, behind We Are Young and Rumour Has It/Someone Like You.

Not too shabby! Bet that makes everyone involved on the music end of things feel really good!
